Additional MyCare PHC Services
In addition to the four PHC Programs, each of which is a comprehensive health and wellness package, MyCare PHC offers additional services on an a la carte basis to existing members:
- Additional Special Visits – If a member has used all of the Special Visits that have been allotted to him/her at a given point in time but requires or desires a Special visit, he/she can purchase Special visits as needed.
- Hospital/Nursing Home Care for PHC Access and PHC Wellness Program Members –If a member that is enrolled in either the PHC Access or PHC Wellness Program is admitted to the hospital or to a nursing home, MyCare PHC will be able to continue to provide care within that environment for an additional fee. The following are additional details around these services:
- Delivery of these services is predicated on the MyCare PHC physician having privileges at the hospital to which the member has been admitted.
- If Member is admitted to a hospital at which MyCare PHC does not have privileges, MyCare PHC will facilitate the care provided by staff physicians at that hospital.
- Physician services provided to PHC Access or PHC Wellness Program members within a 24-hour period can be handled as a Special visit, eliminating the need to pay any additional fees.
